In the Mine, the floppy disk is plugged into a DataMax 47 - the five-hundred-pound gorilla of the information gathering world. This machine searches databases around the globe for any and all facts it can find about you. It learns your age, height, weight, location, complete medical history, culinary preferences, sleeping habits, psychological weaknesses, genetic makeup, favorite color, and so on. This data is correlated and compiled into an exhaustive profile of you, which is printed out on standard size paper. The profile for an average person numbers between 300 and 600 pages.
