POTW #796

The topic I actually started out thinking about in the shower this morning was perspective drawing. But it led to this.

Vanishing Point

Looking at ideas from a distance makes them small
Beyond the first horizon they aren't anything at all
Taken on the average almost everything is far
And traveling necessitates not being where you are
Objective truth is quantified by context and location
The facts themselves dependent on the language of notation
If only there were telescopes that magnified philosophy
We might compare our thinking somewhat closer to agnostically

Check out "Ode to the Stuff in the Sink," Dave's illustrated book of "guy" verse (concerning the deeper philosophies of things like not doing the laundry, putting your feet on the furniture, and of course beer) at the Maximegalomporium (our store). And did I mention it was illustrated? Pictures!
